Computer Tech

Computer tech, it kinda scares me im not gonna lie. Thats where i am right now. I finished my assignment and now i have nothing to do for a half and hour. so here i am talking to you. I should probably be doing homework, but i dont really want to, so..... sorry im saying so alot. I know this post is virtually pointless so let me tell you a little about business manegment. I love that class. My teacher only told us what we were doing, but oooh! im really really excited. we are going to make our own company and see who's company survives! im way way way excited. ok im gonna go do my pre-calc now. so caio! love ya, whoever reads  :)

Hormones....stink

its true hormones stink. and highschool kinda stinks for that reason. everyone is so high on hormones, no one thinks before they leap. so naturally i get leaped upon. lol jk.
today was a good day :) it was really upsetting for chemistry, then i had choir. and i love choir. i do i love it!
you have to admire someone who can strike fear into your very soul just by sarcastically saying......"Congratulations". ooh i still have chills. lol

lets come crashing back into reality

I figured i'd better post, cuz i haven't in a long time. So here it goes.

im blogging, and thinking, and listening to Harry Potter 6. you know there are only 2 books i can listen to, Harry Potter and Fablehaven. Why? because the ones who read the book are so great. they make the books so much more than reading, they make it come alive, plus listening is so great for multitasking. I can do my homework and  listen, clean and listen, cook and listen, all the while im getting things done.

I'm planning on getting an associates degree by the time i graduate. the only problem is, im lazy. I procrastinate, and i hate doing homework. I need a cure, but i can't seem to find it. you may be asking if im worried about the social aspect.  no im not worried about not having a social life, cuz i dont have one now. who said i would have one in 2 years? exactly.

i am now forcing myself to go do homework.

I just found out im a semifinalist to go to Egypt or Russia this summer! for roughly 6 weeks. I'm so excited. I'm only a semi-finalist, but im hoping! yay! In Egypt i would learn Arabic, and in Russia, i would learn Russian :)

Sorry i haven't posted in a while. I just have had nothing to post. I'm in an emotional rut. so i didn't feel like posting. anyway. I love Christmas :) its one of my favorite holidays. why? cuz we get presents. yes thats true but lately I've started to realize more and more that Christmas is not about the presents. I mean i dont really care about getting presents anymore. I would rather spend the whole entire day with my family or friends than get a boatload of presents. I would rather give something meaningful to other people than get a pretty necklace, you know what i mean? so i really love all of the story's about coming closer to Christ and about the true spirit of giving, and Christmas. This is my favorite one ive heard so far.


   Paul received an automobile from his brother as a Christmas present. On Christmas Eve when Paul came out of his office, a young boy was walking around the shiny new car, admiring it.“Is this your car, Mister?” he asked.Paul nodded. “My brother gave it to me for Christmas.” The boy was astounded. “You mean your brother gave it to you and it didn't cost you nothing? Boy, I wish...” He hesitated. Of course Paul knew what he was going to wish for. He was going to wish he had a brother like that. But what the lad said jarred Paul all the way down to his heels.“I wish,” the boy went on, “that I could be a brother like that". Paul looked at the boy in astonishment, then impulsively he asked, “Would you like to take a ride in my automobile?”“Oh yes, I’d love that.”After a short ride, the boy turned and with his eyes aglow, said, “Mister, would you mind driving in front of my house?” Paul smiled a little. He thought he knew what the lad wanted. He wanted to show his neighbors that he could ride home in a big automobile. But Paul was wrong again.“Will you stop where those two steps are?” the boy asked. He ran up the steps. Then in a little while Paul heard him coming back, but he was not coming fast. He was carrying his little crippled brother. He sat him down on the bottom step, then sort of squeezed up against him and pointed to the car. “There she is, Buddy, just like I told you upstairs. His brother gave it to him for Christmas and it didn't cost him a cent. And some day I’m gonna give you one just like it ... then you can see for yourself all the pretty things in the Christmas windows that I've been trying to tell you about.”Paul got out and lifted the lad to the front seat of his car. The shining-eyed older brother climbed in beside him, and the three of them set off on the ride of a lifetime.

lets all try to be a brother like that. Because Jesus is our older brother that will do anything for us. Just remember not to get to caught up in the worldly side of Christmas. Make someones day and give something meaningful. :)

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! i love it! it really is the best! alot of food, all my family, football, snow..... oooooh i just love love love it! anyway  :) so its amazing....

another thing that is amazing? twitter.... im sorry but i love it... im kind of addicted.

ok one more thing.... gregg sulkin.... he is a CUTIE! he really is. plus (and it is a plus) he is british :) it totally makes it so much better. look at him? whats not to love? also.... wizards. LOVE IT! i love selena gomez. she is just the best. truly. the best!

Big changes!

i have a job at chick-fil-a now and im starting next week! yay!

i went to go see harry potter 7 (part one) THE BEST! it was way good. except for the unessary nudity. thats ridiculous! really people? really? ugh. anyway

I also went to go see 42nd street (put on by alta) it was pretty darn AHMAZING! apparently my expectations were pretty low cuz they sure blew my mind! it was really really good!

i got my plastic drivers license... but my mom doesn't trust me to drive by myself yet. so you know.... ugh. lol but its all good. it will be just fine. cuz i dont really want to drive... cuz im scared. cuz i tend to almost crash into things. ONLY WITH MY MOM though. my dad is a better backstreet driver in my opinion. this is my OPINION.

Thanksgiving is my favorite FAVORITE holiday! i love love love it! so im pretty darn excited that i have cousins coming! anyway. farewell for now my friends :)

drivers license

I got my drivers license today. yay!! this is prettty much all i have to post. so Amen and hallelujah to all!

its true i'm 16! Surprisingly, i don't feel any different... prob because i was so excited, in my mind i was already a laurel anyway!

on Sunday my dad took me for a drive... (of course :)) he blindfolded me and told me to tell me where we were going. so We finally stopped and of course i get it right away. THE DRAPER TEMPLE! my dad teases me and says " no we're at the chevron station". anyway lol. so we talked, and talked. then my dad blindfolded me again and we went home. he walked me into the house blindfolded and i open the door and all of the sudden... SURPRISE!!! my mom had planned a surprise party for me with all of my extended family, plus my adopted! (Laru, Marilee, Nicole, Pamela) etc. I was so darn surprised!! and the pictures will be iffy seeing as my mascara was all smeared from the blindfold. but it was way fun. I had a great great birthday!

now all i have to do is get a job! so i can pay my dad 250$ so i can get my license. heres the story.
before i can get my license i have to pay my dad $250, so he can put it in a CD. (Certificate of Deposit) (not a disk). Then IF i get into a crash (i just watched red asphalt 3 today...brains, blood, bodies *shudder* not pretty) I have the deductible for my insurance. (something like that). so anyway. We shall see.

I got a new phone, and its pretty sweet. its a knockoff an i phone. but i like it none the less.

Feild Trip

I cried. I hyperventilated.... just at the beginning. the rest of the time i had a death grip on Paige Victorine, Cassidy,  and or Paige l. with my head hidden and my eyes closed. safe to say i was scared to death! so in closing... i will NEVER EVER EVER!!! go into a haunted house ever again...

JOb INterview!!

That is correct! I have a JOB INTERVIEW! for massage envy! yay! tomorrow! so anyway wish me luck!

hey guys.... i really have nothing to post except that i passed my parallel parking test and im gettin ready to drive soon. :) i found out that i work well under pressure or stress. see im pretty boring today :) anyway :) thanks for reading this very boring, almost to myself post lol oh and clair is in utah! YAY! pictures hopfully...if not oh well.

Traci Hunter Abramson

I met Traci Hunter Abramson. she signed my book :) i was very close to not being able to even listen to her. Summit Academy High School had her for an Assembly. They posted on the door a flyer that said "come and join us". When we got there they said we couldn't come in because it was a school assembly. Emotions were running high, i had just woken up and ya a cried a little bit. not enough to be sobbing but my eyes were watering down my cheeks. :) then i got a hold of myself, saw Mrs.Smith and went and talked to her. Finally she consented that Annika, Chloe, and i could come and sit in the back row. it was a really good assembly. She gave writing tips and she told about her work in the CIA. Well what she could tell anyway. after the assembly i got her to sign my book. Im really glad i got to listen. this woman is my role model, and she lives in virginia, so i thought i would never see her or listen to her, but lucky for us there is a writers conference going on right now. So she came to Utah for that. anyway thanks for listening to my pitiful story lol :)
